About the Author
Dr Simone Badal McCreath is an award-winning Jamaican scientist, author, research fellow, and senior lecturer in Biochemistry at the University of the West Indies, Mona. She specializes in prostate cancer treatment research and successfully developed the Caribbean’s first prostate cancer cell line. She holds a PhD in Biochemistry; an MBA in International Relations; an MPhil in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and a BSc Biochemistry & Chemistry (Hons.) from the University of the West Indies. Dr Badal is also the founder and chair of the board of the ACRJ (AntiCancer Jamaica Foundation). She lives in Jamaica with her husband, Gregory McCreath.
